Spectacular and energical ring from Candy Collection

This ring in 18k red gold is made by three circles on each side making a
totally blaster of energy.On two sperate rings holding the centerpiece with

diamonds turning down towards the center core.Its totally cool to see.

By hand and in air puts the broken circles together, this is rather difficult
when a few degrees wrong makes a hole diffrent kind of ring.This kind

of ring is also made by a ruby in the center core.

Anna Mandelstam has always been a rebel, standing on my two feet on
the ground and seeking for justice and going towards the current stream.

But its not everyday you feel strong and powerful,days everything is
aginst you and cant do anything to change it. But people you meet will help
you thru your day by the signals you send without say nothing.We are all

A FEW QUESTIONS TO ANNA MANDELSTAM

Are you afraid your design and ideas is going to

be stolen or duplicated?

-Everthing can now or later be duplicated but the real thing is always going
to be the real thing. Our handmade jewles has a energy in them like a

signature of a painting and that is always going to be more priced and sougth
after. No I try to look ahead into the future and work like a turtle who goes into
its shell and just work with my new projetcs and dosent try to bother so much

on the curent stream of bullshit pardon my language.

What trills you in your life?

-To see things be done.Somethings that makes a diffrence for you or me and

takes you one step further.Thats something to live by.
The creativity in making jewles is most trilling to me.To see new a thing be born

and the special way they are made in.The long process is like swimming

thru life and you goes where ever you like.In the evenings or the weekends

I paint in oli on canvas that is also excaiting to do.I like to paint, draw designs,

put things or forms together and see how a shape of something is made up.

Its almost everytime a hit to me.

What kind of jewelry do you see in the future?

-I think jewles with a more distinct exspression.Today jewels are sold by silly
words or by the auora of value- or by the brand lebel.Take away the silly

words and put into a deeper meaning ........like,1 dont agree to

war,I will not buy more,throw more,I will care,help my fellow

humanbeing and so on. When you walk down the street or goes to that party,
you will not only bling of gold, no you will say something important and build
bridges to people and thru jewles connect. And not make a distance as some
jewles of today make. But this will take time.The way jewelry is worn is also
going to change.On shoulders,heads,high up on arms or mulitwearible

jewles you can wear in many ways.Pendent in the evening, bracelt to work,
brosch in the morning.

What do you think about the bijoux buisness?

-Its both good and bad.But more bad of course,by making to much at a level of
low producecost the result is going to be high mountains of garbage.This

is really bad.To buy fast a jewel for nothing and you havent thought of it for a
minute is nothing for me and absolutely nothing for our earth.

But to dream for a jewel is appealing to me. The only small good thing is the
free way of expression when they make the bijoux jewels.

No,its easy to put a green paste into a metallic form and spray over with toxid
gold look a like color.But when you put an exspensive and
maybe rare gemstone into a gold design and it shall be there for years to come,
thats diffrent!

Whats up for Mandelstam 2011?

-It sounds borring if I told you that I only going to work on. But of course I will
complet my five collections and are going to make jewllery for men,children
and to brides. Films is something both Thomas And I like to do more of.
Films with own Mandelstam music starring jewles. I have also Ideas for a new
collection but we will see.

The meaning of the five collctions

Ice Age :

For us humans nothing in our past has had a largder meaning
than that everthing we live for can one day be gone. Like that
time we had an ICE AGE on our earth.This time is the most
important stage in our human history.

Candy :

Meaning, the nature of human desire after things you self see

as candy,it can be cars-sex-ice cream- money or what ever you
have a passion for. People fight-work-or do anything for pleasing
them self. This human attribute is much more stronger than
even love.Jewllery is to many a passion and in that way, in our

design we use red gold and a lot of colored gemsstons in tasty
taste. Enjoy and take a big bite, you are only human!

Stardust:

We are all from stardust.But what we want to tell about this
colle ction is that we all down here on our planet are so
focused on our lifes and we almost not see longer than our
noses and only look down och straight ahead. By this

collection we take you up to space were everything once
began and were we can get an other and more disan st ced
perspectives on our lives.The design, forms colors and
energy takes you to planets,nebulosus,stars and moons.

Avatar:

Whats beyond space?. You will not belive what you will find.
Other rules and enviroments than we have here on earth.
A higher thinking and this is something to take a stand to.

MEET AN INTERESTING SWEDISH DESIGNER

Anna Mandelstam had her first exhibition in 1997 with 10 pieces of

splendid jewelry.She has developed thru the years to become an

important jewelry designer.Here can you follow some of her steps

in work at the Mandelstam jewelry world. Anna works with three

dimensional expression,with forms in silver she puts them into a

moveable mould.To see the jewelry from all directions is of high

importance to Anna. Her design is a statement to a new

way to see modern jewelry.

"The result and finished jewelry must be something I like and stands

for and this can be sometimes difficult if you have high level of what

you want.I am not really ever content and tries to go my own way-

says Anna.I want to see new expression in the jewelry business.

I know i owe it to the buyers as a jewelry designer of today.

Of course it can be a problem to reach many people when you

work in this way but for me as an artist is a way of livning.Jewelry

should stand for so much more then a piece of metal you buy for

sevral reasons,you feel inside your self for it, or for the reciver.

The thought is not enough,even if it sounds good as a start.

Swedish designer in high jewelry Anna Mandelstam makes a statement
by also in painting an new expression for the jewelry she makes.Two
models at the photoshootning from april 2010 must be painted.

This is my way to se what I am doing as a designer from an another angel
says Anna. I paint almost everyday. To feel by hand and follow the steps
in painting is really good for my work as a jewelrydesigner.

And also memory to everybody who worked so hard this day and

espacially to the two models how worked for sveral hours in the

cold for the look and for the jewles. They are true heroes.

In the near future are we going to have an exibition maybe

with both jewelry and paintings together. That could be

really intresting to see.

In this ring has Anna made a perfect chaos between two rings,colors

reminding to nebuloses in space,pinkish and blue sapphires and stokes

of small baguett cut diamonds.Sperate settings are made for each stone,

levels in all directions is of great importance.
